Safire UPS1500VA-4 UPS – smart backup power for critical systems
The Safire UPS1500VA-4 is a smart, maintenance-free UPS (uninterruptible power supply) delivering 230 V AC, 1500 VA and 900 W. This battery backup keeps essential equipment such as IP cameras, network video recorders (NVR), access control, smart home or intercom systems running during a power cut, for example due to sabotage or a mains failure. The UPS also protects connected equipment against overvoltage.
The Safire UPS1500VA-4 has four Schuko (EU) sockets and an output of 230 V AC, 1500 VA and 900 W. Charging time is approximately 6 to 8 hours (to 90% capacity). The UPS features a clear LCD information display.
Via the USB port you can connect the UPS to a PC for management and settings. The required software is available for Windows and Mac (via the internet). Free Windows software (UPSilon2000) is supplied on CD as standard, together with a USB cable.
With a computer connected, the UPS can automatically save files, close programs and shut down the system in a controlled way during a power cut. It can also send automatic email notifications for certain events, as long as the PC is running.
