UMA AIR-S100-4 – wireless solar-powered infrared beam detector set (100 metres, 4 beams)

The UMA AIR-S100-4 is a wireless active infrared beam detector set for outdoor use. This solar-powered set consists of a transmitter and receiver and has a detection range of up to 100 metres. The detector is ideal for applications such as alarm systems, access control, smart home installations, intercoms or IP cameras with an alarm input.

Functions and features
The set uses four infrared beams and triggers when several beams are interrupted. A built-in spirit level and LCD display make alignment easy. Communication with a receiver uses 433 MHz FSK+FHSS technology for a stable, interference-free link with a range of up to 1000 metres (receiver sold separately, compatible with models AIR-SR-2, AIR-SR-4 or AIR-SR-8).

Power supply
The detector contains an internal 3.3 V/500 mAh LiFePO4 battery that charges at a light level of at least 1800 lux. It keeps working in cloudy weather, and can additionally be powered via an external 5–12 V DC connection.

Reliability and protection
Advanced technology reduces the risk of false alarms, even in fog, rain or direct sunlight. The detector performs self-checks and detects incorrect mounting or calibration. The housing is fully sealed and waterproof (IP65), suitable for temperatures from -30 °C to +70 °C.

Installation
The detector can be mounted on a wall or a pole. Fixing materials and pole brackets are included.
