UNI-T UT387B – Wall Scanner – Metal, Live Wires & Wood – 80 mm

The UNI-T UT387B is a reliable wall scanner designed for professionals in construction, interior finishing and installation. This compact detector locates hidden objects behind walls and floors, such as metal pipes, electrical wiring and wooden joists, helping you avoid damage and dangerous situations when drilling or chasing.

The UT387B is optimised for use on plasterboard, but also works well on surfaces such as hardwood floors, plywood and coated wooden walls. The device detects ferrous metals (such as steel and iron), non-ferrous metals (such as copper and aluminium), live wires and timber structures.

Detection depths:

• Ferrous metals: up to 80 mm
• Non-ferrous metals: up to 80 mm
• Live copper conductors: up to 50 mm
• Wood: up to 20 mm
