Hardware and connectivity
The UniFi Express 7 offers a versatile network interface with one 2.5 GbE LAN port and one 10 GbE WAN port, plus Ethernet management and Bluetooth connectivity. With an IDS/IPS throughput of 2.3 Gbps and an energy-efficient design drawing a maximum of 22 W via USB-C (5 V / 5 A), it combines power with efficiency.
Wireless performance
The gateway supports WiFi 6, WiFi 6E and WiFi 7, with maximum data rates of 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz and 5.7 Gbps on 6 GHz. 2x2 DL/UL MU-MIMO and antenna gains from 4 dBi to 7 dBi provide a stable, fast wireless network, even with many simultaneous devices (300+ clients).
Security and network management
The UniFi Express 7 offers next-generation security with application-aware firewall rules, content, country, domain and ad filtering, VLAN- and subnet-based traffic segmentation and a full stateful firewall. Advanced networking features such as licence-free SD-WAN, VPN support (WireGuard, L2TP, OpenVPN, IPsec), policy-based WAN and VPN routing and customisable DHCP settings make it easy to run a reliable, secure network.
Software and ease of use
The gateway supports all common WiFi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be), offers advanced QoS options and guest network isolation, and supports multiple BSSIDs per radio. The intuitive 0.96-inch LCM status display and the RJ45 LED indicators give you a quick overview of the network status, while the factory reset button makes it easy to restore the settings.
Environment and certifications
The UniFi Express 7 operates reliably at temperatures from -10 to 40 °C and humidity from 5 to 95% (non-condensing). The device is CE, FCC and IC certified.
