The UniFi Protect G5 Flex is a versatile, weather-resistant security camera that combines high image quality with flexible installation. Designed for use with the UniFi Protect platform, it delivers reliable performance in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Physical features
The camera has a compact housing with a diameter of 48 mm and a length of 107.5 mm, and weighs just 170 g. The housing and mount are made of durable polycarbonate. With its IPX4 weather resistance and IK04 impact rating, the G5 Flex withstands splashing water and light impacts, making it ideal for a wide range of mounting applications.

Optics and video
The G5 Flex features a 5 MP CMOS sensor and a fixed focal length lens with a wide field of view: 102.4° horizontal, 54.9° vertical and 120.6° diagonal. For night-time recording, the camera has IR LED illumination and an IR-cut filter.
Video is compressed in H.264 at a resolution of 2688 x 1512 at up to 30 FPS. You can adjust settings such as colour, brightness, contrast, white balance and noise reduction (2DNR, 3DNR).

System and installation
The camera runs on a dual-core Arm Cortex-A7 processor and has a 10/100 MbE RJ45 port for the network connection. Power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE) with a voltage range of 37–57 V DC and a maximum power consumption of 4 W.
Mounting options are versatile: desktop, wall, pole or hard ceiling (mounting accessories included). Additional ceiling or pipe mounts are available separately. The camera operates reliably at temperatures from -20 °C to 40 °C and at humidity of up to 90% non-condensing.

Audio and software
The G5 Flex has a built-in microphone (can be disabled) for audio recording. It works seamlessly with UniFi Protect software within the UniFi OS ecosystem and can be managed via the UniFi Protect app for iOS and Android.
