The UniFi Gateway Fiber is a powerful, reliable network gateway designed for demanding environments and advanced networks. Measuring a compact 212.8 x 127.6 x 30 mm and weighing 605 g, it combines serious performance with a sleek polycarbonate housing.

Hardware and performance

Powered by a quad-core ARM® Cortex®-A73 processor at 2.2 GHz and 2 GB DDR4 memory, the UniFi Gateway Fiber offers excellent processing capacity for heavy network traffic. It has an Ethernet management interface and supports Bluetooth for easy setup and management.

Network interfaces

  • LAN: 1x 10G SFP+ port, 4x 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports
  • WAN: 1x 10G SFP+ port, 1x 10 GbE RJ45 port
  • PoE: 1x PoE+ (30 W max. per port)

PoE and power

The gateway is powered by a 54 V DC, 1.1 A AC adapter with a voltage range of 100–240 V AC and a maximum power consumption of 25 W, excluding PoE. The PoE budget is 30 W, so you can power a connected device directly from the gateway.

Security and firewall

The UniFi Gateway Fiber provides full stateful firewall protection, application-aware firewall rules, signature-based IPS/IDS threat detection and advanced content filtering by country, domain and ads. This keeps your network secure and stable while handling traffic efficiently.

Advanced networking features

  • Licence-free SD-WAN
  • WireGuard, L2TP and OpenVPN server
  • OpenVPN client and IPsec site-to-site VPN
  • Policy-based WAN and VPN routing
  • DHCP server and DHCP relay, with IPv6 support

Indicators and durability

LED indicators show system status (white/blue), Ethernet activity (green) and PoE status (amber). The gateway is designed for an ambient temperature of 0–40 °C and a relative humidity of 5–95% non-condensing. ESD and EMP protection are built in.

With CE, FCC and IC certifications, the UniFi Gateway Fiber is a reliable, future-proof network solution for both business and advanced home setups.
