The UniFi Protect AI PTZ Industrial (Black) is a powerful security camera designed for demanding industrial environments. With advanced AI functionality, exceptional image quality and a rugged build, it delivers professional video surveillance at the highest level.
Image quality and optics
The camera features a 1/1.8" 8 MP sensor that captures 4K resolution (3840 × 2160, 16:9) at up to 30 FPS. The f = 6.36–138.5 mm lens with ƒ/1.5–ƒ/3.4 and 22x optical zoom delivers sharp, detailed images at both wide-angle and telephoto settings. The field of view ranges from H 59.8° / V 44.4° / D 70° (wide) to H 3° / V 2.24° / D 3.76° (tele).
Night mode with IR LED illumination and an IR-cut filter provides clear night vision up to 100 m. Image settings such as colour, brightness, sharpness, contrast, white balance and exposure are fully adjustable. The camera also supports 2DNR, 3DNR and motion noise reduction for optimal image quality in all conditions.
Smart detection and AI
The UniFi Protect AI PTZ Industrial offers advanced AI recognition with support for face recognition and licence plate recognition. With smart detections for people, vehicles and animals, the system can automatically distinguish and prioritise events, considerably increasing the efficiency of your video surveillance.
Mechanical performance
With 360° endless pan and a 120° tilt range, this PTZ camera gives you full control over the field of view. The sturdy aluminium alloy and polycarbonate housing make the camera weatherproof (IP66) and suitable for harsh conditions, with an operating temperature range of -40 to 50 °C and humidity up to 90% non-condensing.
Hardware and connections
The camera is powered by a quad-core ARM® Cortex®-A53 processor and has a GbE RJ45 network port with PoE++ power (42.5–57 V DC). Maximum power consumption is 51 W. There is also a microSD card slot for local storage.
Mounting
The UniFi Protect AI PTZ Industrial comes with mounting options for wall, pole and desk stand. The mounting hardware is made of powder-coated aluminium alloy for long-lasting durability.
