The UniFi Protect AI Turret brings advanced surveillance technology in a compact, robust design. This high-end camera combines durability with intelligent features and is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.
Design and durability
Measuring Ø118 x 111 mm and weighing 990 g, the housing is made of sturdy aluminium alloy and polycarbonate. The camera is weatherproof (IP66) and impact-resistant (IK08), so it withstands a wide range of weather conditions and impacts. The cable sleeve (Ø20 x 70.6 mm), made of thermoplastic elastomer, polycarbonate and silicone rubber, protects the 30 cm RJ45 cable against wear and damage.
Optics and night vision
The camera is equipped with a 1/1.8" 8MP sensor and a fixed focal length lens. The field of view is wide: 109.9° horizontal, 56.7° vertical and 134.1° diagonal. For night-time surveillance it has built-in IR LEDs and an IR-cut filter, with a range of up to 40 m.
Video performance
The UniFi Protect AI Turret records 8MP video (3840 x 2160, 16:9) at up to 30 FPS. Image settings include colour, brightness, sharpness, contrast, white balance, exposure control, 2DNR, 3DNR, motion-based NR, masking, text overlay and HDR, so you always get clear, detailed footage.
System and power
The camera runs on a quad-core Arm® Cortex®-A53-based processor and connects via a GbE RJ45 port. Maximum power consumption is 20 W, supplied via PoE+ (42.5–57 V DC). Additional features include an LED ring (R/G/B/W), a 400 lm spotlight and a factory reset button. Mounting is flexible: ceiling or wall, with an optional arm mount, pendant mount or junction box. The camera operates at temperatures from -30 to 50 °C and 10–90% relative humidity, non-condensing.
Audio
The camera has a microphone and a speaker, both of which can be disabled, and supports two-way audio with noise cancellation.
Software
The UniFi Protect AI Turret is managed via the UniFi Protect web application or the mobile app for iOS and Android, giving you access to your camera footage anytime, anywhere.
