The VicoHome CQ1 is an easy-to-use 3-megapixel pan/tilt WiFi camera with 24/7 colour imaging, IR night vision up to 10 m, motion detection, a siren, microSD recording and two-way audio. The camera is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, can pan, tilt and zoom, and comes with a matching solar panel and a 9000 mAh battery. The VicoHome CQ1 is well suited to homes, offices, restaurants, hotels and commercial premises.
Features
The camera records in 3 megapixels (2304 × 1296 pixels) through a fixed 3.2 mm lens with a horizontal field of view of 128°. In dark conditions it switches on its built-in IR LEDs, giving a sharp image even in total darkness (0 lux), and it can also produce a colour image at night. The IR and white LED illumination has a range of 10 m.
In addition to IR night vision, the camera has a built-in siren that can be triggered on detection as a deterrent. Thanks to intelligent detection, the VicoHome CQ1 distinguishes between people, vehicles and pets (Pro plan).
With its auto-tracking function the camera follows motion, and you can also pan and tilt it remotely.
A built-in microSD slot allows local recording on a microSD card of up to 128 GB. The microSD card is not included, but you can order one in the options on this page.
The camera can be used completely off-grid: it has a 9000 mAh battery that is topped up by the included solar panel in sunny weather. With normal use of just a few detection events per day, the camera can run for up to around eight months on the included battery.
The camera works with the intuitive English-language VicoHome app for iOS and Android and includes free cloud storage for reviewing events. Recordings are overwritten after 3 days or 0.5 GB. The free plan also includes app notifications on motion. Cloud-based AI video analysis and larger storage are available with a paid subscription.
With a subscription, uploaded event recordings are analysed in real time to detect pets, vehicles or parcels, and you are only notified of the events you want to hear about. For current subscription terms and pricing, please check the VicoHome app in the iOS App Store or Google Play.
The VicoHome CQ1 security camera is IP65 rated, so it is suitable for outdoor use. The camera is powered via the included Micro USB cable; the power adapter is not included but can be ordered in the options on this page. A wall bracket is included.
