X-Security XS-V3211E – 2-Button IP Video Door Station – PoE – MIFARE

The X-Security XS-V3211E is a 2-button door station (network cable connection) with PoE and a MIFARE card reader. X-Security and Dahua products can be used together in one intercom system.

The X-Security XS-V3211E is a surface-mounted 2-button IP video intercom door station with a 2 megapixel camera and a MIFARE card reader for operating an electric door lock. The XS-V3211E can easily be powered with 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE). The door station is vandal-resistant and ideal for buildings with 2 apartments or, for example, a home office or home-based practice.

Features

The door station has a 2 megapixel HD camera with a very wide 140° field of view and an ICR infrared filter for good visibility in the dark. The X-Security XS-V3211E is made of sturdy aluminium and is IP65 rated for outdoor use.

The X-Security XS-V3211E of course has a sensitive omnidirectional microphone and a loudspeaker for clear conversations. The door station can be used with a Dahua or X-Security indoor monitor, but also stand-alone with just the free Dahua mobile app. Live images can be viewed at any time in the app or on the indoor monitor.

The door station has a built-in relay that can be wired to an electric door lock, so a door can be unlocked remotely or with a MIFARE card at the door station. Suitable MIFARE RFID tags and MIFARE cards are listed in the options on this page.

An external RS485 relay (Dahua DEE1010B, available separately) can be connected to unlock a second door or a gate, for example. The DEE1010B relay can also be used as the only relay and installed inside the building for extra security.

The door station can be configured and managed via the built-in web interface in a browser on a Windows PC. The XS-V3211E works with the free Dahua SmartPSS Video Management Software (VMS) for Windows and the mobile app for iOS and Android. A microSD card of up to 64 GB can be inserted to record snapshots and audio/video messages. Uploading images to an FTP server is also possible. The camera images can also be recorded on a network video recorder (NVR).

Installation

The X-Security XS-V3211E can be powered by a 12 V DC adapter (not included) or by Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af). A suitable 12 V DC adapter can be ordered in the options on this page. For easy installation, we recommend ordering a DC female connector as well, which you will also find in the options, together with several suitable PoE injectors and switches. The X-Security XS-V3211E cannot be connected to the Dahua VTNS1060A intercom switch.
