The UMA AIR-BI1001508A is an advanced active infrared (AIR) beam detector set, designed for both indoor and outdoor use. With 8 infrared beams and an impressive range of up to 100 metres outdoors, this set provides reliable protection for your premises. The UMA AIR-BI1001508A consists of a transmitter and a receiver that are simply wired for power and alarm outputs.

The detector is ideal for integration with alarm systems, access control, smart home applications and intercom systems, and can even be connected to the alarm input of IP cameras. Thanks to its clever design, the UMA AIR-BI1001508A looks like an ordinary outdoor lamp, so it blends discreetly into its surroundings.

Features

The UMA AIR-BI1001508A stands out for its unique design and functionality. In addition to its primary function as a detector, it also works as an outdoor lamp. The set has 8 infrared beams and a built-in LED and buzzer for easy alignment. Detection is triggered when two adjacent beams are interrupted, which reduces the risk of false alarms caused by small animals.

The UMA AIR-BI1001508A features a tamper switch and an NO/NC relay for alarm outputs. It is designed to minimise false alarms, even in challenging conditions such as direct sunlight, car headlights, fog, rain, snow and frost. The weatherproof housing (IP65) is made of durable PVC for a long service life.

The detector is easily installed in the garden as an outdoor lamp and has a total height of 150 centimetres. Installation is straightforward thanks to the included mounting hardware and instructions.
