The right camera mast for the right viewing angle

A good camera image needs more than a good camera – the mast matters too. It keeps the camera firmly in the right place and must withstand wind, rain, vibration and vandalism. If the mast isn't stable, the image becomes blurry or blind spots appear.

At UMATECH you'll find a range of camera masts and mounting materials for your IP cameras. Whether you want to put a camera on a pole or need a mast several metres high, they're suitable for permanent and temporary surveillance on building sites, business parks and events.

Fixed camera pole with ground anchor

For a permanent setup there are camera poles with ground anchor kits, set firmly into the ground.

  • Dig a hole, pour concrete and place the pole
  • Made of galvanised steel, well protected against rust
  • Secured with strong stainless steel nuts and bolts
  • Suitable for complete camera setups including bracket

These poles are ideal where the camera must stay put, such as car parks or business sites, giving minimal vibration and a stable image.

Tilting truss masts for self-assembly (3 to 8.5 metres)

Want height and easy maintenance? The aluminium truss masts are free-standing and tiltable. You build them from separate sections and fix them with a ground anchor.

  • Available from 3 to 8.5 metres, built from separate truss sections
  • Tiltable, so you mount the camera at ground level and then raise the mast
  • Lightweight aluminium with guy wires for extra stability
  • Suitable for cameras, PTZ models and antennas

Thanks to the tilting function you don't have to work at height during installation or maintenance.

Ballast masts for temporary surveillance

For temporary situations there are ballast masts from 1 to 4 metres high.

  • No concrete or digging needed
  • Fill the base with paving slabs or weights
  • Quick to set up and easy to move
  • Suitable for building sites and events

Telescopic aluminium masts (up to 10 metres)

Need extra height? Choose a telescopic aluminium mast.

  • Lightweight yet sturdy
  • Extends up to 10 metres
  • Lockable at the desired height
  • With guy wires for extra stability

Aim the camera exactly for the best overview. These masts also suit PTZ cameras and antennas.

Mounting on wall, roof or chimney

Sometimes a free-standing mast isn't possible, so there are also mounting kits for existing buildings.

  • For mounting on a wall, roof edge or chimney
  • With strong brackets and clamps
  • Suitable for difficult or high locations

Extra parts and accessories

UMATECH also supplies extra parts to complete the installation:

  • Extensions and truss sections for extra height
  • Guy wire kits and clamps
  • Ground anchor kits for extra stability
  • Pole mount brackets and clamp rings

Don't forget the installation material, such as cable glands and fixings, for a neat finish.

Strong, neat and safely finished

All camera masts are galvanised or coated against rust and have a cable entry or hollow tube, keeping cabling out of sight and better protected. The masts fit standard brackets and PTZ mounts with a diameter of 48 to 60 mm, and every order includes clear mounting instructions. Combine your mast with the right security cameras for a complete system.

Fast delivery

Order before 17:00 and, if in stock, we ship the same day – so your camera is often up at the right height the next day, with a good overview and as few blind spots as possible.

Frequently asked questions about camera masts and poles

Which camera mast do I need?

That depends on the application. For permanent installations on car parks or business sites, a pole with ground anchor is ideal. For temporary surveillance, ballast masts or a light pole are more practical. Need a lot of height? Choose a telescopic mast up to 10 metres or a tilting truss mast.

Can I mount a camera on a pole without digging?

Yes. With a ballast mast or wall bracket there's no digging involved – perfect for temporary or hard-to-reach locations.

Is a tilting camera mast available?

Yes. UMATECH's aluminium truss masts tilt and are available from 3 to 8.5 metres. You mount the camera at ground level and then raise the mast, which makes installation and maintenance much safer.

What should I look for when buying a camera mast?

Consider the height, type of mounting (fixed or mobile), the weight of the camera and the location, as well as durability, stability and compatibility with your camera and brackets. Not sure? Send us a WhatsApp and we'll help.

Does every mast fit my bracket or PTZ mount?

Most UMATECH masts fit standard brackets and PTZ mounts with a diameter of 48 to 60 mm. Always check the specifications before buying.
