From Webstore4.com to UMATECH

UMATECH has been around since 2012, but only under the UMATECH name since 2025. Before that we were Webstore4.com, and before that Webstore4IPcameras.com. After 13 years it was time for a new brand – and a lightning-fast website that helps you navigate all 5,000 products for your project.

Between February and July we worked around the clock to make sure this old-yet-new player in security, access control and home automation looked spot on.

And then, suddenly, it was done. New website, new stock system, new location in the heart of Amsterdam, new staff. It really couldn't smell any fresher in here.

Our promises

Knowing where you stand before you order – that's only fair. Every product page shows a dynamic message that reflects the current stock status as accurately as possible. We work with many suppliers and have our own warehouse in Amsterdam; some suppliers deliver faster than others. If we can't keep our promise, we always contact you right away.

We keep a close eye on the prices of all our products to offer you the best price – so that it works out for everyone. Seen your item cheaper elsewhere? Let us know! In some cases we can then offer you a lower price.

Want part of your order earlier so you can get started on the job? No problem. Pay on invoice? We're open to it. Collect it yourself? No problem. Everything is open for discussion. We know what it's like to run a small business and keep an eye on everything. Our administration takes care of the details so you can get on with what you do best.

    Good online service. When I got stuck, I contacted them via WhatsApp. They replied almost immediately with good advice and helpful photos. Completely satisfied. Everything works perfectly now.

  • Order cancelled and money back

    Placed an order, product was supposedly available in 2 to 3 days ... it wasn't ... Order cancelled and money refunded immediately.

    Good service. Communication could be a bit better in terms of phone response; the reply on the app came rather late, but it was resolved very quickly and neatly.

  • Handled neatly despite the customer's own mistake

    Quick response on WhatsApp. Very willing to give advice, and the goods were delivered quickly. After delivery it turned out I had made a mistake myself when buying the product. WebStore4 handled this very neatly. Well arranged for us!

  • Bad service

    Buying and shipping went fine.
    The manual supplied with the product was wrong. I eventually got in touch via WhatsApp and received the wrong advice. Afterwards, once I had measured it myself, it turned out I had wired it correctly after all, but a jumper still had to be changed to select 24V instead of 12V. I reported this back to Webstore4 long before I wrote this review – because these things happen and I understand you can't know the ins and outs of every product. After that I got no reply at all. Not even when I had figured it out myself and shared my findings. Very bad service 👎🏻
    And now they do dare to respond to this review and twist the situation. I'm an electrician myself and told Webstore4 the correct way to connect it. So much for appreciating help 🤷‍♂️

  • Complaints handled well
