Electric bolt locks

Electric bolt locks for extra-strong locking

An electric bolt lock provides powerful, reliable locking for all kinds of entrances, such as doors, sliding gates, server cabinets and access hatches. Unlike a standard electric strike, a bolt lock uses a sturdy pin or bolt that extends and retracts, giving a much stronger lock.

At UMATECH you'll find compact and heavy-duty bolt locks, with vertical or horizontal locking, for indoor and outdoor use.

What can you use a bolt lock for?

An electric bolt lock is especially useful where extra locking strength is needed, or where a normal strike doesn't work well. Suitable for:

• doors with little closing force (such as glass doors)
• sliding or double doors
• server cabinets, safes or plant rooms
• interlock and double-door applications

Voltages and versions

Our bolt locks are available in several variants, so you can always choose the right model:

• 12 V or 24 V DC
• fail-secure (stays locked without power)
• fail-safe (opens on power loss)
• mini versions for cabinets and furniture
• IP65 versions for outdoor mounting

Extra functions (optional)

• status feedback (open/closed detection)
• delay or timer function
• stainless steel bolt for long life
• adjustable relock delay

Mounting and control

Mounting is easy and possible on the door, frame or a side panel – often with just four screws. The compact size also suits situations with little space.

An electric bolt lock can be controlled directly via, for example:

• access controller
• relay
• push button
• home automation system
