This wireless keypad is designed for the Ajax alarm system and serves as the central control point at the entrance of your home or business. With its backlit touch panel you arm and disarm the system quickly and manage access easily. Encrypted two-way communication with the Ajax Hub ensures reliable, secure operation at up to 1,700 m in open field.
In the Ajax app you set personal PIN codes, add users or deactivate temporary access remotely. Up to 99 extra codes can be created – ideal for cleaners, visitors or temporary users. The keypad continuously monitors its connection to the hub, shows faults after unlocking and locks automatically after too many wrong attempts to prevent unauthorised access.
Besides PIN codes, some versions also work with MIFARE 13.56 MHz cards, tags and key fobs, managing up to 200 users depending on the hub model. So you choose whether to use codes only or add contactless credentials for extra convenience.
The keypad runs fully wirelessly on four replaceable AAA batteries with an expected life of up to 4.5 years. Mounting is easy with the included back panel and optional bracket – an ideal addition to any Ajax Baseline alarm system, at home or at work.
