Ajax MotionCam – Wireless PIR Motion Detector – Photo Verification – White

The Ajax MotionCam White is part of the Ajax Baseline alarm system. Ajax is a leading brand in security, offering reliable protection for homes and businesses with systems that are easy to install and operate. In the free app you receive alerts about alarms and events, view live video (if cameras are integrated) and check the status of all devices, with support for multiple devices and users.

Capabilities
The MotionCam is more than a regular motion sensor: it is a smart wireless detector with a built-in photo camera and tamper protection. Its 2-megapixel camera takes sharp images even in low light, so suspicious events and intruders are always clearly captured.
The MotionCam only works with the Ajax Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus or Hub Hybrid (see the options on this page). It uses passive infrared (PIR) to detect motion up to 12 m away. As soon as motion is detected, the camera sends images straight to the hub, and an advanced algorithm distinguishes people from pets or objects.
