Capabilities

The Dahua ASI1201A communicates via both RS485 and the Wiegand protocol. A connection to a PC via RS485 or TCP/IP is possible. The Dahua ASI1201A is suitable for indoor and standalone use, so no separate controller is needed. It can be managed on the device itself or with the free Dahua SmartPSS software on a Windows PC.

The Dahua ASI1201A is easy to install yourself. It is powered by a 12 V DC adapter (not included). Suitable power supplies can be found and ordered in the options on this page. The Documentation tab contains a link to the manufacturer’s website with the datasheet and manual, among other things (“Download” tab).
