The Dahua NVR5416-EI is a 4K Ultra HD network video recorder (NVR) that connects to 16 IP cameras over the network to record and manage camera footage. Thanks to its extensive functionality, easy installation and high usability, the NVR is ideal for homes, shops and businesses alike.
This recorder has no PoE ports for connecting cameras directly. The cameras must therefore be added to the NVR via a PoE switch or over the network.
Features
Up to 16 IP cameras can be connected to the NVR over the network. The NVR can be accessed via a web browser, Dahua video management software and the free Dahua app for smartphones and tablets. It has an HDMI and a VGA output with a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4K Ultra HD), so you can connect a standard TV to display live images, among other things. There are also three USB ports, for example for connecting a mouse.
The NVR5416-EI supports cameras up to 16 megapixels. As part of the WizSense series, the NVR supports various smart camera functions, including Perimeter Protection, face recognition, Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD) and Heat Map. With AcuPick, the NVR sorts recorded footage by event and target type, so you can quickly find what you are looking for in your recording history.
The NVR also supports Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), making it ideal for licence plate registration in combination with a suitable camera. To use the smart functions properly, you always need to choose a compatible camera.
Hard drives
The Dahua NVR5416-EI supports no fewer than four 3.5-inch hard drives of up to 16 TB each. It is supplied without a hard drive as standard; you can order one in the options on this page. We supply Western Digital Purple hard drives, which are specifically designed for 24/7 surveillance. For further specifications, please see the datasheet in the Documentation tab.
