Dahua SD1A404DB-GNY-W – WiFi PTZ Dome Camera – 4 MP – 4x Zoom – IP66

The Dahua SD1A404DB-GNY-W is a 4 MP pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) Wi-Fi dome camera from the WizSense series with Starlight technology, for indoor or outdoor use. It features Wi-Fi, audio input/output, 4x optical zoom and 120 dB WDR, and can record on-board to a microSD card (not included). The camera can pan, tilt and zoom and is well suited to homes, offices, restaurants, hotels and commercial premises.

Features
The SD1A404DB-GNY-W delivers images at a resolution of 2560 x 1440. Dahua Starlight technology makes it ideal for challenging lighting conditions, and the camera has a built-in automatic IR cut filter. Its highly light-sensitive image sensor still delivers usable images with minimal ambient light, even in near-total darkness (0.005 lux).

The camera has built-in infrared night vision up to 20 metres and 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), so it handles complex lighting such as backlight from the sun or car headlights very well.

Because the camera has Wi-Fi, it is ideal where a Wi-Fi network is available but running a cable to the camera location is difficult.

The camera features Dahua SMD 3.0 Smart Motion Detection. This smart motion detection uses advanced object recognition and analysis algorithms to accurately distinguish people from other objects such as animals and vehicles, minimising false alarms.

Footage can be stored on a network video recorder (NVR), among other options. The camera can also record on-board to a microSD memory card of up to 512 GB.

Dahua offers a free app for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has a built-in web server, so you can view and manage it in a web browser. Free video management software (VMS) for your computer can be downloaded from the Dahua website.

The Documentation tab includes a link to the manufacturer's product page.

The SD1A404DB-GNY-W has an IP66 rating, making it suitable for outdoor use, and is vandal resistant (IK08 rating).

Suitable mounting brackets are listed in the options on this page.

The camera must be powered with a 12 V power adapter. Suitable adapters can be found in the options on this page.
