The Dahua VTNS2003B-2 is an IP video intercom switch for use with the Dahua VTH5422HB/HW intercom indoor monitors, the VTO2202F-P-S2 door station or the VTO4202F-P-S2 camera intercom module. Because the monitors and door stations connect to the switch via 2-wire, this system is ideal for replacing an old apartment doorbell or intercom system. The existing 2 wires can be reused for both the audio/video signal and the power supply of the monitor, making an upgrade from an old apartment doorbell system to a full IP video intercom system simple, affordable and fast.
Installation
The VTNS2003B-2 has 1 connection for up to 20 VTH monitors and 2 VTO door stations. See the manual for cable specifications (length). If more indoor monitor connections are needed, several VTNS2003B-2 intercom switches can be linked to each other via a 2-wire connection. The Dahua VTNS2003B-2 intercom switch must be powered by a 48 V DC adapter (not included). We recommend also ordering a female connector, as the switch has no direct DC plug input. The Dahua VTNS2003B-2 connects to the existing building network (access point, router or switch) with a network cable.
