The Dahua VTO2101E-P-S2 is a vandal-resistant video doorbell that works with a mobile app, or as a door station in a Dahua intercom system with one or more indoor monitors. Features include IR night vision, the SIP protocol, a lens with adjustable viewing direction and power over the network cable via PoE.
Features
The door station has a 720p HD camera with a very wide horizontal field of view of 100 degrees. The viewing direction can be turned 45 degrees to the left or right. An ICR infrared cut filter ensures clear images. The VTO2101E-P also has a sensitive omnidirectional microphone and a loudspeaker for clear audio. Besides the mobile app, the VTO2101E-P can be used with one or more Dahua intercom indoor monitors. As soon as the call button is pressed, the door station sends an instant push notification to your smartphone and rings any connected indoor monitor. You can view live images in the app or on the indoor monitor at any time.
The door station is configured and managed via the built-in web interface in a browser on a Windows PC. The VTO2101E-P works with the free Dahua SmartPSS Video Management Software (VMS) for Windows. You can record the RTSP video stream on, for example, a NAS (such as Synology via Surveillance Station) or a network video recorder (NVR). The door station has a built-in relay that can be wired to an electric lock to unlock a door remotely. An optional external RS485 relay (Dahua DEE1010B, sold separately) can be connected to unlock a second door or a gate. The DEE1010B relay can also be used as the only relay and installed inside the building for extra security.
The Dahua VTO2101E-P also has an alarm input and a tamper switch. Dutch-language firmware is currently not available; the firmware is in English. SIP functions are included in the standard firmware. We do not provide technical support for the SIP functions.
Installation
The Dahua VTO2101E-P has a rugged metal housing with an IK10 rating against external mechanical impact (vandal resistance / EN 62262). The doorbell is surface-mounted. It can be powered by a 12 V DC adapter (not included) or via Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af). A suitable 12 V DC adapter can be added in the options on this page. For easier installation we recommend also ordering a female DC connector. Suitable PoE injectors and switches are also listed in the options on this page. The Dahua VTO2101E-P cannot be connected to the Dahua VTNS1060A intercom switch. The Documentation tab contains links to more information from the manufacturer.
