The Dahua VTO2211G-P is an intercom door station (doorbell) with a MIFARE card reader for operating an electric door lock. The door station works with the free Dahua DMSS mobile app, so you can hold an audio/video call from anywhere in the world. A Dahua indoor monitor can also be used. The Dahua VTO2211G-P runs SIP firmware.
Features
The door station has a 2-megapixel Full HD camera with a 125° horizontal field of view, plus IR illumination and an ICR IR-cut filter for good visibility in the dark. 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range keeps the image usable in backlit situations, for example. The Dahua VTO2211G-P is made of durable plastic and is IP65-rated for outdoor use. A sensitive omnidirectional microphone and a loudspeaker ensure clear conversations.
Besides the mobile app, the VTO2211G-P can be used with one or more Dahua indoor monitors. As soon as the call button is pressed, the door station sends an instant push notification to your smartphone and rings the indoor monitor. You can view live images at any time via the app or an indoor monitor.
The door station has a built-in relay that can be wired to an electric door lock, so you can unlock a door remotely or with a MIFARE card at the door station. Suitable MIFARE tags and cards are available in the options on this page. An external RS485 relay (Dahua DEE1010B, sold separately) can be connected to unlock a second door or a gate, for example. The DEE1010B relay can also be used as the only relay and installed inside the building for extra security.
An exit button can be connected to the door station to unlock the door from the inside. The door station can be configured and managed through its built-in web interface in a browser on a Windows PC or Mac. The VTO2211G-P works with the free Dahua SmartPSS Video Management Software (VMS). The VTO2211G-P has no microSD slot; snapshots and audio/video messages can be recorded on an indoor monitor fitted with a microSD card. The camera images can be recorded on a network video recorder (NVR).
Installation
The Dahua VTO2211G-P can be powered with a 12 V DC adapter (not included) or with Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af). A suitable 12 V DC adapter can be ordered in the options on this page. For easy installation we recommend adding a female DC connector, also available in the options on this page, where you will also find a suitable PoE injector. The Dahua VTO2211G-P cannot be connected to the Dahua VTNS1060A intercom switch or to the PoE output of an NVR.
