The UMA AIR-S60-2 is a solar-powered wireless infrared beam detector set designed for outdoor applications with a range of up to 60 m. The set includes a transmitter and receiver and provides reliable perimeter protection for alarm systems, access control, intercoms, smart home applications and IP cameras, among others.

Application and performance
Thanks to its dual infrared beam, the set detects intruders when both beams are interrupted. Communication between the detector and a separate receiver (optional) uses secure 433 MHz FSK+FHSS technology, with a wireless range of up to 1000 m. Compatible receivers are the AIR-SR-2, AIR-SR-4 or AIR-SR-8.

Solar power and energy management
The detector contains a built-in 3.3 V / 500 mAh LiFePO4 battery that is charged by UV light from 1800 lux. It keeps working even in cloudy weather and can bridge several days without light. For locations with little sunlight, an external power supply (5–12 V DC) is also possible.

Advanced protection
Equipped with anti-false-alarm functions against weather influences, sunlight, loose mounting and incorrect alignment. The detector is IP65-rated for weather resistance and operates at temperatures from -30 °C to +70 °C. Alignment is easy thanks to the built-in spirit level.
