The UNI-T UT682D is a versatile cable tester and cable tracer for quickly locating, testing and tracing various cable types such as UTP, FTP, YTKSY, telephone cables and power wires. This compact tool set consists of a transmitter and a receiver, each powered by an included 9 V battery.

With the UT682D you can easily follow cables, even without removing the insulation. Ideal for installation, maintenance or troubleshooting in network, telephone and power installations. The device also offers cable break detection, a short-circuit and open-line test and a polarity indicator for telephone cables.
