The YLI YM-500NW-EX is a premium explosion-proof electromagnetic lock, suitable for indoor and outdoor use thanks to its IP66 rating. Made of high-grade stainless steel, it provides reliable security in environments with a high risk of fire or explosion, such as the petrochemical industry.

In a power failure the lock releases automatically (fail safe), allowing fast evacuation. It complies with strict EU standards including EN IEC 60079-0:2018 and IEC 60079-11:2012.

The maglock is usually mounted in or on the door frame and has a signal output. With no moving mechanical parts it offers an exceptionally long service life. With 500 kg holding force and a 3 m fire-resistant cable, it is a robust choice for demanding environments. It runs on 12 V DC or 24 V DC; a power supply is not included – see the options on this page for suitable power supplies.
