Electric strikes for intercoms

An electric strike – also called a door release – is the final link between your intercom or access control and the physical door. As soon as you press the button, the latch is briefly released and the visitor can enter without a key. At UMATECH you'll find strikes for wooden, steel and aluminium doors, in both fail-secure (locked without power) and fail-safe (open without power) versions.

Our standard models fit a Euro-profile frame and have an adjustable lip for perfect alignment. Have fire or escape route requirements? Choose an EN 14846-certified series with high holding force up to 850 kg and integrated monitoring switch. For glass doors we supply narrow U-profile strikes, while extra-narrow mini types are ideal for slim aluminium frames. All versions include diodes against voltage spikes, protecting your relay or intercom board.

Connection is easy: two wires to 12–24 V DC or AC, strike into the cut-out, screws in and done. Want to combine access control and intercom? Strikes with a dual coil accept separate control signals from intercom and controller. Optional stainless steel cover plates give the opening a neat, professional finish.
